Final blog post!

I have enjoyed this year at Tawa Intermediate. I really enjoy all the sports like Nucombe ball, K.O, Indoor soccer, Ripper rugby, dodge ball,  .My favourite subject was maths, It's been a great year at Tawa intermediate, I wish I was staying longer.

My highlights for this year was when I got to know everyone, I'm happy I'm leaving this school with a whole bunch of nice and cool friends.

My lowlights were that i could have done better in my maths test and reading test.  I could have done better at the beep test as well.

I feel sad to leave this school but in life you have to just move on but I know I have made life long friends.

Bye Tawa intermediate.

Sustainability

Jackson, Lachie, Jorge, Lasi and I have been working hard on our movie to enter the 'Outlook for Someday' competition.  We have got all of the footage.  It's now down to the team to edit! Looking good so far boys!

Our movie is about Mind Pollution.  It's based on kids getting the newest technology and while they are playing killing games and listening to loud music their brains are rotting.  Making the movie was fun and if it sounds easy its not.  All of the lines and facials were really hard to do.  For parts of our movie we had to use the green screen for some awesome effects!  It wasn't a smooth ride, there were a lot of times where we had not much time with the camera.

Out look for someday movie reflection.
Something that I learnt from mind pollution was that all of these killing games that we play are rotting our brains.
The part of this project that was most challenging for me was writing the scripts.
The part of this project I found most rewarding was when we could say to Ms Tito were finished!
The thing I need to improve on the most is saying my lines clear.
The thing I found that I am really good at is keeping a straight face.
If I had to do another Outlook for Someday movie, the things I would do differently are: Teach Jackson and Lachie how to keep a straight face.

It happend to me

A week ago I went fishing with my cousin brook and nico and my aunty and uncle trish and matt.

At night time brookebrought some of his Michel Jordon movies. As we were watching my eyes started to close my mind started to drift.

The next thing I know my aunty is wacking my head telling me to get up I asked what the time was she said half past five.I slowley got up and got dressed and walked outside to see my uncle hooking up the trailer to his ute.He looked at me and said well what are you waiting for come and helpI nodded my head ( Im coming ) i walked over  i was holding the trailer my uncle started to move the ute. BUT THEN!!!!! The wheel on the trailer ran my foot over.I was screaming. But my uncle couldn't hear me my aunty ran out but by then i had stopped.

Brumm Brumm the boat started I thought my ear drums popped.

off we went  to the deep blue sea. Here we are cod kingdom my uncle said.I slowly droped my line into the deep dark sea.NEK MINIT there was a huge bend in my rod.It was a game of tug of war brooke and nico where laughing at my facials to be honest I thought it was a king fish. I finally got it into the boat I was so happy.

Matariki post

Do you know what Matariki is? well I'm going to tell you. Matariki is the maori new year. Matariki is formed of seven stars named WAITI, WAITA, WAIPUNUANGI, TUPNAUKU, TUPARANGI, URURANGI ,And they say you can name the seventh star what ever you want.I call it RJ. ( Reilly Junior )

In room 13 to celebrate Matariki we made panels that where in 3rds.The top third has to do with new growth. I put stairs to heaven with the sun and a koru. The second third i have two korus that represent my mum and dad. The two stars that represent my two brothers. The two triangles represent my grandfather and I. The bottom third has to do with matariki i have one big koru and six korus. They all represent the seven stars.

I thought making the matariki board was easy NEK MINIT!!!! Matariki 2012

Cross Country

There we were on the start line patiently waiting for the whistle. Mr O'C gave out instructions no one was listening we were so focused as Mr O'C blew his whistle the ground started to shake.Loud foot steps lots of cheering. Huffs and puffs as we came around the corner and up the hill.

The hill killed me but the down hill revived me. There I was running next to my friend Nathan Wanders trying to keep up with each other passing people rapidly my leg's where burning i started to slow down as I watched Nathan sprint ahead of me I started to power walk.

The sprint there I was two people in front of me I started to say to myself I have to beat them I started to chug along my leg's felt brand new thru the I passed one of them I'm going to beat you I repeated that about ten times and........whabam!!! I did it!
